After a 2 months on the nutrisystem diet. I have probably lost my squeamishness on trying any sort of food. Mind you – the nutrisystem diet has played a major role in improving my diabetes. I lost 40 lbs. in the process and now am currently taking half the amount of insulin which i use to take. Having said that, I finally decided to take a break from the diet and try a couple of delicacies from Typhoon a nice Gem of a place here in Los Angeles.

To eat bugs, I tried the “Crickets” they were awesome. They tasted like garlicky peanuts and would highly recommend them to anyone who has never tried an insect:
One of their Specialties which I highly recommend is their Deep Fried Cat Fish:
Am highly recommending this place. Not just for the “insects” but all their dishes. The view of Santa Monica Airport is awesome -its a great place to spend a quiet dinner. Here’s to one of our lovely places in Los Angeles – Typhoon.
